Caught
using a piece of Dynamite Frenzied Maize, balanced with a grain of
Enterprise Tackle artificial corn hook bait. The end tackle was
2.5oz Atomic lead running on Gardener lead core to 12lb Krystonite
mainline. 15lb Sufix Camo skin hooklink with the first couple of
inches stripped back, the hook was a size 7 ESP G4 Raptor.

current Scottish record (as far as we know) which
weighed in at a healthy 29lb 2 ˝
oz, caught
by Steve Ball from Castle Loch, Lochmaben
in 2005. The biggies are hard to come by in Scotland so well done
to Steve, good dangling..!!
