no sure mate but i think it is a designated nature reserve for birds

It is as Billy says but you can also fish it from certain swims.

Rumoured to be a few lumps in there but also quite a few pups that will get on your nerves. Never fished it myself but have often walked up and down one of the banks. Strange water really as i've never seen anyone actually fishing it.

A reed fringed middle with lots of bays in the reeds. It actually flows in to Weymouth harbour aswell.

There used to be a good head of doubles and 20's in there, well! back in the mid to late 80's, they had a tendency to go walk about though. allegedly had an additional stocking with one or two big mirrors from Warmwell. Not heard anything about the place for years. Oh! tis full of eels
